Another mouthwatering weekend came. It was almost two weeks ago since we went to this nice resto at the south and just have time to blog it.
It was Sunday morning after Sunday mass when we decided to go for a unique dinning expi, since we we're saturated by too much fast foods on malls during family days. Not to mention that we're Cavite residents, we weren't able to try food here due to busy sched and intimidating exterior that made us feel food was so expensive.
15 minutes away from Dasmarinas, Cavite we reached Balinsasayaw gates. I was amazed by too much people there and cars fully consumed the parking lot.
Staff was so accommodating, from the guard, who led us to a better parking space to ones who entertained us for awhile while waiting for vacant kubo for 5. Place was huge, I think they have couple of dining kubos which made each eating moments private which made the place unique. While waiting, we took some photos of their nice resort-like place then browsed their menu.
We didn't waited long, food was served hot and fresh. Concept of food service and dine was good. Eating inside the netted kubo kept us away from mosquitoes and flies which made the experience different from any dinning expi added by relaxing sound of dangling capiz ang yantoc.
We ordered meal good for 5 persons, "bilao meals", which are meal packages good for group of people. Aside from it's served in bilao, each Bilao meal was all quite the same. All served with rice and have fresh sliced fruits for desert, maybe just different with the serving size and some unique dish from the other.Creamy mushroom soup, served hot with it's colorful floats was served first.
Then aside from bilao meal we also had Calamares with mango dip (I sooo much love this!). I will never forget it's sweet fresh dip which I think dish would be better if served hot.
Plus Pork sisig served in sizzling plate with fresh egg mixed by the waiter at the service table inside the hut.
The main course, bilao number 2, good for 6 persons. Ensaladang Talong, grilled squid, chicken BBQ, garlic shrimp and grilled tuna belly.
Bilao meal was good., complete combination of seafood except for the chichen barbeque and eggplant. Actually I was surprised with the one dish, it's texture and taste was like pork liempo with fish taste at the bottom part, well it was grilled tuna belly though. And the sweet part was the sliced mixed fruits of papaya, watermelon and pineapple even it has pale colors.
Dining experience was good, I like their dishes and the ambiance even there's a point I felt capiz and yantoc sounds noisy already. Next time I wanna try their crispy pata! hmm....
